It has been a while since I posted, but I am finally rolling my sleeves up and continuing this blog.
The last few months I have been in a creative spin. I retired in June and am now free to follow my artistic urges without being curbed by admin work and other’s expectations. It has been wonderful.
Among the things I have become keen to pursue, is a morning walk or cycle, and as part of that, I take a photo or two and bring it home. There are now three months worth of watercolour sketches from mostly around my own area, (although when I travel off in my camper van, I paint those places too).
Recently I put them into a hard cover book, and advertised it locally, where it received a warm response. It is now for sale if anyone wants one. 20cm x 20cm with 20 pictures, plus the cover and back. They are $40 (NZ). Please contact me by messaging me at jeffries.jenny@gmail.com

Hi Jenny, love the paintings and if at all possible I’d like to buy a book. Only, I don’t have Paypal, ApplePay or some such payment things. Don’t have a creditcard either. Way too dangerous for me. So I only have my debitcard and the iDEAL/wero system. When it transitions fully into wero, somewhere at the end of this year, they say I can pay everywhere with it. Alas iDEAL only ever was for created for Europe/the EU.

Aw – sweet Marij – I have been encouraged by your posts and comments already so much. I mainly wanted to give a website my locals in Te Atatu could go to if they want to see these books or (later) the things we’ve made for the craft market. ❤️
